Adam has been involved in music from a very young age, having studied piano, trumpet, and cello by the time he was 11. He graduated from the University of Utah with an Honors Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance in 2018 and has been teaching private lessons ever since. In addition, he has performed professionally with various music groups since the age of 18; he also has worked extensively in music production, mixing, and engineering, with several songs featured in Netflix shows and similar platforms. Adam’s formal training background is in jazz music, but he also has experience in classical, pop, and various other contemporary genres. As a teacher, he believes that having a passion for music is the most important factor driving a student's potential for success. His teaching philosophy emphasizes learning what the student wants to learn, while also developing the technique and other tools necessary to take their musical journey in the direction they want to go. He is well-rounded and knowledgeable in many areas of music, and is able to guide students toward excellence in their chosen area of study.
