Amber has loved music since the day she was born. She has a Bachelor of Music with an Emphasis in Commercial Music from Snow College where she studied many genres. She has traveled to Europe to further her operatic training and performed in several operas including Die Zauberflote and Cosi Fan Tutte. In addition to her classical studies, she has been in several bands including an Indie Rock, Country, and Jazz Band where she performed at several different venues. Having studied various vocal styles, Amber loves attending plays, operas, and other performances as often as she can. Having begun singing at a young age, she also learned to play the piano which she has been playing for more than twenty years. Amber has studied many instruments throughout her training including clarinet, flute, violin, bassoon, and various percussion instruments. She believes experiences, variety, good habits and practice build the best musicians. In addition to music, Amber loves cooking, running, weight lifting, and camping. In her studio, Amber focuses on creating a safe, fun space for learning. Excellence is expected which is achieved by consistent, intentional practice, building good technique and patience. She has been teaching for over five years and loves helping her students achieve their goals.
