Piano, Drums | Farmington

Brendan has a long history with music, beginning with his first piano lesson when he was only five years old. He began writing simple melodies for his trumpet when he was twelve years old. Since then, Brendan’s enthusiasm for music has brought him to seek formal training in all sorts of percussion instruments (including drum set, auxiliary and world percussion, drumline, timpani, marimba and other keyboard instruments), piano, and music composition. Brendan is currently attending Berklee College of Music earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition for Film. He has written music for a number of short films and podcasts, and has been sought after to write competitive percussion shows across northern Utah. He has taught various high school ensembles for five years, working at Roy High School, Ogden High School, and Davis High School full-time, and teaching clinics at various high schools and jr high schools across Weber, Davis, and Utah Counties.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
