Cami has been singing since she was 3 years old. Growing up, she was quite shy in public, but at home, she always loved to put on a show. Since those humble beginnings, Cami has been trained in voice for 14 years from a variety of teachers, some of which include members of the Tabernacle Choir and Utah Opera. She is currently studying Vocal Performance at the University of Utah, and has performed with both their Chamber Choir and Opera programs. Cami has experience in all kinds of music, including choral, musical theater, classical, pop, and even a bit of barbershop, but prefers to teach musical theater and classical. She has performed in over 15 musicals and operas and plans to perform in many more. When it comes to Cami's teaching style, it is important to her that she provides a comfortable environment for all kinds of students. She believes that a student cannot truly explore and learn their instrument if they are uncomfortable or afraid to make mistakes. Cami loves to be her students biggest cheerleader! She believes 1% progress is better than 0%. Cami also very much enjoys teaching the ins and outs of performing and acting. She believes music is about telling stories and loves teaching her students how to do that in a real and honest way. In the end, Cami is honored for the opportunity to teach and hopes she can help every one of her students recognize their worth and potential!
