Piano, Piano Place Jr's, Voice | Saratoga Springs

Cristina has been playing the piano since she was 5 and singing since she could talk. She has always been involved in choir and shows while she was in high school and in college. She graduated from UVU with her bachelors in commercial music with an emphasis in voice.

She has worked as an accompanist for solo singers, choirs, and musical theater classes. As a singer she has toured with numerous choirs in The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and New Orleans. She has sung in a variety of vocal competitions and in front of audiences in musical theater and Opera roles and with jazz bands and also accompanying herself.

Cristina is comfortable teaching a variety of vocal styles such as: classical, jazz, pop and musical theater. Her first priority is creating a safe space to explore the possibilities of each person's talents. Her number one goal is to cultivate confidence in one’s whole self and help musicians get comfortable sharing their talents. Another top goal is personal improvement based on the individual effort of the student. She believes in the power of music to improve lives for the better.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
