Piano, Ukulele, Voice | South Jordan

Emily has been teaching since she was sixteen years old! Not only has Emily been teaching for a long time, but she’s been singing before she could even walk. Her teaching style is very unique but very fun. She loves relating with her students and finding out how they personally learn so that she can make their lesson a special experience for them. She’s quick to make friends with her students and loves making jokes with them and turning their lessons into a fun learning experience.

Emily was the recipient of the Musicianship award for the class of 2019. She has participated in A Capella, Ladies Ensemble, and Jazz choirs. She competed at district and state solo competitions as well as The Bennett Cup vocal competition where she placed in the top three vocalists for four consecutive years.

Emily specializes in musical theatre. She finished her Theatre Practicum at Rigby high school where she taught belting, mixed, and classical styles.

Although she is classically trained, Emily loves having fun on the ukulele and singing fun, contemporary songs when given the chance.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
