Amy Geis has been involved in music her entire life.
Originally from Draper, Amy moved several times to places including the Dominican Republic and San Diego, California, and made sure to make music the center of her life wherever she lived. She participated in choirs, plays, and solo events, always pushing herself to try new things and improve her musical ability. She joined different performance groups, competed in state wide competitions, and took lessons from several different vocal teachers. She grew up playing the piano and the guitar, and always took time to write her own music.
As Amy began college she thought she would try a cappella music, and is currently in her second year as a member of BYU Noteworthy, the college’s internationally acclaimed, all-female a cappella group. She spends a lot of her time rehearsing with her group and performing several concerts a month. Because of her experience in the group and throughout her life, she has gained a strong stage presence, great performance skills, and an understanding of music that has blessed her life in immense ways. She has also recorded several songs with Noteworthy, and is featured on multiple tracks as a soloist.
Amy has also recently focused on producing and recording her own music, releasing them on iTunes, Spotify, and other music stores. Her true passion is creating her own music, and her dream is to help others write and produce music of their own.
Amy is a newlywed, and lives in Provo with her husband, Patrick. She loves running, eating, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She is so excited to be a part of the Piano Place and help others experience the joy of music.
