Piano | Rexburg

Grayce has been playing piano for over 10 years and absolutely loves it. She has an immense passion for music and loves to try and pick up any random instrument she can get her hands on (including the guitar, banjo and violin). She is currently studying piano performance at BYU Idaho and is hoping to become a music therapist. She has trained with many pianists including Perry Piano School and Jessica Coombs Piano. When not practicing or teaching, Grayce can be found having fun outdoors, working on various projects, and spending time with her family and friends. She loves teaching all ages but is especially good with younger students because they particularly like the bubbly and fun atmosphere in her classroom. She loves all kinds of genres but is especially passionate about classical music as well as arranging and composing her own pieces. She enjoys the freedom and calmness that music brings into her life and wants to grow that same kind of passion in her students. She believes that learning music instills students with important life skills associated with consistent practice, intrinsic motivation, trying again, performing in front of others, self expression, self forgiveness, and not giving up when things are hard.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
