Originally from Sandy, Utah, Diana Gunn has been performing and studying music for over 20 years. She’s performed all over Utah, California, Florida and the British Isles. Growing up she enjoyed competing in several vocal, piano and dance competitions, musical theatre productions and songwriting workshops.
At the age of 14, she was a vocalist for Radio Disney and performed in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City as 1 of 5 members of an all-girl pop band. Diana graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors of Music in Contemporary Voice and Commercial Songwriting. Her passion for music and dance led her to be the head cheer coach at Brighton High School for four years. She has performed and worked for Walt Disney World as well as filmed for the ABC Disney Christmas Day parade. She has been a vocalist for several local artists, including Hilary Weeks, Jenny Phillips, Lauri Carrigan, Michael McLean as well as several EFY albums.
Diana has been a private vocal and piano coach in and around the Salt Lake and Utah valleys for the past 7 years. Since 2012, she’s worked as a coach at ReMix Vocal Academy, a summer acapella vocal camp at BYU. She is an assistant area coordinator and accredited vocal teacher with IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix), founded by Dean Kaelin. Diana is very excited to be able to share her knowledge and love of music with anyone willing to learn, both young and old!
