She is more than excited for her new move to Utah and is open to all your favorite Utah recommendations!
Jennie graduated from The Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music at Chapman University in California with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance, and a second Bachelors of Music in Music Education. She’s had the opportunity as a Classical Soprano to perform on stages such as Segerstrom Center of the Arts, MGM Grand, Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as the famous Carnegie Hall in New York City. She has shared the stage as a back-up vocalist with famous artists such as Heather Headley and Andrea Bocelli. Although she has a distinguished repertoire as a classical Soprano, she doesn’t just work as a classical singer. Jennie’s first love was belting Broadway ballads and often performs with Musical Theatre companies. She is proud to offer a wide variety of vocal technique styles to her voice students of all ages.
As a teacher, Jennie specializes in catering to the individual goals and musical tastes of each student, while still building the necessary building block fundamentals of technique. Jennie has had over 10 years of classically based piano training, and enjoys approaching piano learning as both an individual instrument, and a gateway instructional instrument into all the other options of music education. In lessons with young/ kinder musicians, Jennie brings fun variety into her teaching style and often incorporates percussion instruments into lessons. Her goal for each student is to continually progress at their own pace while always finding the joy in why they are working so hard to become a great musician.
