Violin | Farmington

Haylie began violin lessons at 6 years old, and immediately fell in love with music and the violin. She has studied under a number of notable instructors, and has received Superior ratings in Federation and High School Solo and Ensemble festivals. She is well-versed in many genres of music such as classical, fiddling, pop, and more. Haylie loves working with students who love music and try hard to improve. Students are encouraged to express themselves with music selections of their choice in addition to their Suzuki Method book pieces. Haylie creates a very encouraging, welcoming atmosphere where students feel loved and cared for. She believes that confidence plays a major role in learning to be a musician. She helps students increase their confidence and abilities, not only learning how to play a piece, but how to perform it.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
