Cello | Farmington

Jessica began her musical training at the age of four and has studied at Utah State, Nevada School of the Arts, Jacob’s School of Music, The Gifted Music school, and Utah Valley University. During her early college level education, she entered the Utah State competitions and won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Over the years, she has shadowed cello teachers at summer camps, workshops, and teacher training programs. She has been a cello teacher since 2014 and has continued to build her studio. Jessica loves the opportunity to work with children and students of all ages. With each cello lesson, she does the best she can to accommodate the individual needs of every student. She comes prepared with theory games, exercises, prizes, and new assignments that help prosper the growth and inspiration of her students. She enjoys teaching cello because it is her passion to teach students how to use music as a coping outlet and to teach others how to beautifully express emotions through the artistic language of music.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
