Meet Katie, a passionate violin instructor who is pursuing a music minor at BYU. Katie has dedicated years to mastering the violin, studying under the guidance of notable mentors such as Jack Ashton and Ramona Stirling. Her extensive background includes participation in prestigious musical ensembles such as Rocky Mountain Strings, Corner Canyon Chamber Orchestra, and the BYU String Orchestra. Additionally, she has enriched her teaching skills through six years at the ISSI Suzuki Institute. Katie understands the crucial role that mastering the basics plays in a musician's lifelong journey. Her goal is not only to impart technical proficiency but to instill a strong work ethic in her students. With a focus on the Suzuki method, Katie aims to make learning enjoyable, ensuring her students not only appreciate the beauty of music but also develop a foundation for a lifetime of success.
