Laura Lee adores the piano and is grateful to have been studying how to play it for the past 13 years. During that time Laura completed all 10 levels of the AIM program; accompanied many choirs, bands, and orchestras; was the rehearsal pianist for several of Corner Canyon High School's musical productions, including Bernstein's West Side Story; and won Sterling Scholar in Music for Corner Canyon High School.
Laura previously attended Southern Utah University where she studied music and received private piano lessons under Dr. Christian Bohnenstengel. In her time at SUU, Laura was trained in music theory, form, and history and is excited to return to teaching at The Piano Place to incorporate the things she learned in her studies into her own teaching.
Laura believes that music is one of the purest forms of expressing emotion and approaches all of her pieces with that viewpoint. Laura hopes to aid students in learning and finding their own meaning in music.
