Piano | Farmington

Meishe excels at convincing students that “piano is the best!” As the oldest of 7 kids, Meishe is good with kids and loves the art of persuasion. She has been known to make even the most stubborn of students practice - and enjoy it! One of her favorite things about teaching is helping kids find what they love about piano and she believes firmly that there is something in it for everyone.

Meishe has been playing the piano since she was very young, she even read notes before words! She grew up in the piano department, where her father attended school, and has been in love with the piano ever since.

She began her teaching career at age 11, when her mom started a music school. Together, they provided over 30 lessons every week. For the past 4 years, she’s taught on her own, growing her studio in North Carolina. After graduating summa cum laude from Sandhills Community College, she was accepted to Brigham Young University as a Junior in the English Department.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
