Nola has loved violin from her first introduction and worked to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance from the University of Utah. Nola is hard working and dedicated to the violin; she wants to share her knowledge with her students even if they do not plan to pursue a career in music. Nola has high energy and loves active students who are engaged and open to creative thinking. Students focus highly on technique to create the most musical and beautiful sounds that can be applied to all repertoire. Nola teaches how to practice and teaches different skills to help learning through music. Nola’s goal is to prepare students for performances to build self confidence as well as share beautiful music the students learn through the years. Nola is familiar with different teaching methods including Suzuki, Paul Roland and Mimi Zweig. Nola provides an open and safe atmosphere for students that helps students feel comfortable for deeper learning.
