Kaylee Romrell is currently pursuing a degree in Violin Performance at Brigham Young University, where she studies with Alexander Woods. Kaylee began studying the violin at the age of 4 with Deborah Moench and at the age of 12 received a full scholarship to the Gifted Music School, under the direction of Eugene Watanabe and Dr. Elizabeth Kuefler-Wallace. In 2013, she soloed with the American Fork Symphony as a “Salute to Youth” winner. Since then she has been featured in several broadcast recordings on KBYU-FM.
Kaylee is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Strings, which has given her the opportunity to travel to Europe where she performed in several countries and participated in an international workshop with local Suzuki violin students. Kaylee has been involved in masterclasses and performed with various artists including Arnold Steinhardt, Bill McLaughlin, Joseph Silverstein, and Karen Wyatt.
