Rowen has been playing guitar for over 8 years, but along the way has picked up skills in keyboard, bass, ukulele, and drums. This allows Rowen to offer an incredibly diverse and holistic approach to music and songwriting. Aside from years of self-regulated practice, Rowen has taken several years of Jazz guitar and music theory courses offered by the University of Utah. Rowen has also worked as a teacher aid at Montezuma Creek Elementary for 4th and 5th graders. Rather than teaching from a set curriculum, Rowen specifically designs lessons that allow his students to both grow and learn new skills while simultaneously emphasizing what they want to learn. Rowen hopes that this process not only allows students to progress rapidly, but allows them to develop a passion for music and their instrument.
