Ryan Stephan was born in Seattle, Washington where he and his four brothers spent their childhood idolizing Ken Griffey Jr. At the age of 10, he moved to Alpine, Utah where he graduated from Lone Peak High School in 2009. While there, he played both baseball and football. After high school, Ryan served an LDS mission in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When he returned, he attended Utah Valley University, where he was a member of the baseball team and later received his bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Ryan has been playing the piano for 22 years (since he was 5). He played as a featured pianist for 3 years at The Roof Restaurant in downtown Salt Lake, and has played throughout the state for different bands and hundreds of special events. He is passionate about composing, as well as arranging hymns and writing covers for popular songs. Although a little biased, he believes the piano is the greatest instrument! Ryan has a passion for teaching and showing kids the profound effect music can have in their lives.
