Shirley Barben completed formal piano performance studies at the National Musical Institute "María Luisa Luzio" in Bolivia from 2010 to 2015, with additional private lessons from diverse master teachers through 2016. She has extensive experience competing nationally and internationally, performing in festivals and leading concert series. She has been teaching piano since 2009, offering personalized instruction for beginners through college-level preparation, including competition and exam readiness. Shirley adapts her teaching to diverse learning styles and special needs, emphasizing patience, structure, and encouragement. Specializing in classical piano with skills in popular and contemporary genres, Shirley leads classical music projects as Art Director at BOMUSA. Her approach fosters confidence, musical independence, and a love of music to help students reach their full potential.
