No more boring lessons! Danny is a guitar and piano music instructor who believes in the learning of music through play. Students will channel the art of music as they are encouraged to experiment with their instruments and create their own sounds. They will do this while guided by an instructor who believes in creating a safe and fun environment for all music learners. Danny would rather have learners experience the joy of music than feel forced to mechanically pound keys.
In lessons, students will explore and create music alongside their teacher according to their ability. Together, they will play songs, make up melodies, tap out groovy rhythms, and even sing as they learn their instrument--all this to foster an appreciation for and connection to music. No matter the level, students will learn that music is fun, rejuvenating, and rewarding!
Danny was raised in his mother's own piano studio where he was exposed to jazz, classical, and rock. He has wailed his saxophone at DC metro stops and jazz clubs, performed in jazz and wind bands, accompanied choirs on piano, and serenaded lively groups around a campfire with the guitar. He has taught students from kindergarten through middle school and teaches music the same way it was taught to him: with passion and with play.
