Evan is a piano teacher who completed the Digital Instrumental Music program at the George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology. He wrote and produced his own album, Deep Takes by Evan Calderon, in 2022 and won the "Best Composer" award that same year. From 2021-2022, Evan performed with a 3-piece jazz band. His teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are and ensuring they enjoy learning. He encourages students to set their own goals, then provides the theory and technique needed to help them achieve those goals.
