Garrett is a talented and experienced drummer with a Bachelor of Arts and a Music Education certification from Montclair State University. He was the percussionist first chair in the New York Youth Symphony and performed with the Princeton Brass Band and the MSU West Africa Drum and Dance Ensemble. He has been teaching since 2016 and uses his experience with classical music and personal practice to educate students in easy and tangible ways that also challenges them. Garret strives to teach students the five core standards and how they align with fun and enjoyable music. Garret strives to make his students smile and hone their love for music.
