Jacki is a passionate drum and violin teacher with a commitment to music education since 2021. Specializing in rock and jazz, Jacki holds a Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance from Utah State University, graduating in 2024. With a diverse background in music, including participation in The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps and Gold Spike Percussion, Jacki brings a wealth of experience to teaching.
Currently, Jacki serves as the assistant percussion director at Ogden High School and is a dedicated staff member at Gold Spike Percussion. Jacki's teaching philosophy centers around empowering students, believing that they should be active participants in their learning journey. By tailoring lessons to each student's unique needs and preferences, Jacki fosters an environment where learning is exciting and enjoyable. Jacki emphasizes that learning music should be both fun and challenging, aiming to impart not just musical skills but also a deeper appreciation for music as a whole.
