Kazia

Playing Piano since 2005 and Teaching since 2012, Kazia is a classically trained musician, competitor, soloist, and accompanist. Her extensive performance background includes music history study at USU under Dr. Michael Ballam, multi-instrumental performance since 2009, and marching band field leadership. Covering music from the 1600s to the present across nine sequential phases (beginner to advanced), along with the Piano Faber Adventure Series, her classroom offers a progress-focused environment prioritizing real skill and robust sightreading. Lessons require basic academic fundamentals and a commitment to consistent home study and practice.

As a dedicated mentor and Founder of Sovereign Mind Coaching, Kazia empowers independent learning at home and in the classroom. She is a Certified Coach specializing in Neurodiversity, ADHD, Neuroscience, Positive Psychology, and ACCESS. Her student-specific programs map each student's learning type, motivation, and focus directly into a personalized, neuro- pedagogical approach. Incoming students typically fit into one of her five core tracks. 

• Standard All-Around Program (Beginner–Advanced Levels)
  Targets core fundamentals (theory, sight-reading, history, circle of fifths) to systematically identify and bridge gaps in prior training, or allow students to start cleanly from the very beginning and build step-by-step.
• Competitive Piano
  Technical precision for auditions, concerts, or competitions. Beginners can start early to build robust habits at a comfortable pace.
• Music Theory & Performance
  Composer analysis, advanced scales, keyboard accompaniment, basic conducting, and harmonization (no voice instruction) to help students discover their personal sound.
• Neurodiverse Program
  Collaborative, customized accommodations adapted directly from her classroom methods to adjust to unique learning styles.
• ADHD Student Program
  Structured specifically around how ADHD brains focus, regulate interest, and retain concepts sustainably. By uniting structured musical instructions with specialized behavioral support, Kazia strives to provide an encouraging educational environment where every student has the resources to build their musical and learning skills.
