Madi has been teaching since 2015 and is skilled in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, and ukulele. She pursued studies in Music Education, Music Theory, and Classical Voice at BYU for 3 years, complemented by achieving the level 10 distinction in piano through the Utah Music Teacher Association's Achievement in Music program in 2018. Her musical journey includes singing in choirs under Eric Whitacre and Rob Gardner, as well as televised broadcasts of General Conference. Madi brings a wealth of experience from 1 year in BYU Women's Chorus and 2 years in BYU Concert Choir.
As an educator, Madi emphasizes creating a sense of belonging in her studio and believes strongly in the transformative power of music in students' lives, particularly in building self-confidence and instilling the value of hard work. She enjoys teaching a variety of styles, from pop and classical piano to folk and country guitar, and is especially passionate about musical theatre within vocal instruction. Above all, Madi's top priorities in teaching are encouraging her students to strive for their best while ensuring they have fun along the way.
