Ryan has been teaching guitar and piano since 2015, bringing both technical expertise and a passion for music education to his students. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Game and Interactive Media Scoring, where he was also a core music theory tutor. As a guitar principal, Ryan specializes in acoustic fingerstyle guitar and has performed at a variety of venues across Boston, LA, and Utah. His extensive experience also includes sound design, composition, audio programming, audio production, and proficiency with multiple DAWs, giving him a well-rounded perspective to share with his students. Ryan’s teaching philosophy centers on making guitar and music learning both enjoyable and deeply understood. He emphasizes the practical application of music theory through real musical examples, ensuring students grasp concepts in an engaging and relevant way. Ryan strives to inspire creativity and cultivate a positive, supportive environment, encouraging each student to explore their musical potential and continuously develop their skills.
