Tavian

Violin | South Jordan

Tavian Haddock has played violin since age seven, advancing through orchestras such as the Timpanogos Chamber Orchestra and UVU Chamber Orchestra from 2011 to 2020. He gained valuable performance experience including playing in Abravanel Hall, which strengthened his musical discipline and ensemble skills. From 2015 to 2020, Tavian took rigorous private violin lessons while performing with university ensembles, deepening his technical abilities and musical knowledge. This strong foundation supports his current teaching approach. Tavian adapts lessons according to each student's learning style and goals, blending Suzuki ear training with Slavic technique to ensure professional sound quality and enjoyment. With perfect pitch and versatile skills, he encourages students to explore varied repertoires including classical, pop, and folk music in a supportive environment.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
