Adelyn

Cello, Ukulele, Violin, Voice | Bountiful, Farmington

Ade has been weaving musical magic since practically the moment she could make a sound, transforming from a natural-born singer to a multi-instrumental virtuoso. Beginning her violin journey in 2013, she has since expanded her musical repertoire to include cello, which she picked up in 2022, and formal vocal training starting in 2017. Her musical talents have been repeatedly recognized, including being named the 2023 Music Sterling Scholar runner-up at Dixie High School and earning the prestigious 2019 Peter and Phyllis DeLuca Music Scholarship. Ade's consistent selection to All-State Orchestra in 2018, 2019, 2020 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as the Honors Orchestra in 2019, demonstrates her exceptional musical prowess and dedication. As a passionate music educator, Ade has been teaching strings since 2017, bringing a unique blend of technical skill and infectious enthusiasm to her students. Her teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and transforming musical learning from a potential source of anxiety into an empowering journey of self-discovery. Currently pursuing her music education at the college level since fall 2023, Ade brings both academic rigor and real-world performance experience to her teaching. She believes that every student has a musical voice waiting to be discovered, and her approach is designed to help students not just play notes, but truly express themselves through music. When she's not inspiring the next generation of musicians or perfecting her own craft, Ade can be found navigating the world of orchestral performance, having been an active orchestra member since 2017. Her multifaceted musical background allows her to approach teaching with a holistic perspective, understanding music not just as a technical skill, but as a powerful form of personal expression. Whether working with a beginner struggling to hold a bow or a more advanced student looking to refine their technique, Ade brings a light-hearted, supportive energy that makes learning music feel less like a chore and more like an exciting adventure. Her ultimate goal is to help students build not just musical proficiency, but a lasting confidence that resonates far beyond the practice room.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
