Shirley Andrea Barben is an internationally experienced concert pianist and dedicated piano instructor with over 15 years of teaching and performance experience across the United States, Bolivia, and Ecuador. She has performed in national and international festivals, gala concerts, and collaborative productions featuring piano, orchestra, ballet, and chamber music, bringing real-world performance experience into every lesson. Recognized among Bolivia’s Top 10 Outstanding Young People for academic and artistic achievement, Shirley combines artistic excellence with a passion for education and mentorship.

Shirley specializes in creating personalized lessons that help each student progress with confidence while enjoying the learning process. Her teaching blends strong technical foundations with creativity and encouragement, helping beginners build solid skills while guiding advancing students toward performances, competitions, and personal musical goals. With extensive experience teaching children, teens, and adults—including students with diverse learning needs —she adapts her approach to ensure every student feels supported, motivated, and successful.
