Cierra has been involved in theatre since she was in 8th grade. She has always loved performing, and has been teaching theatre since 2022. She received a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Education from Utah Valley University where she was presented an award of excellence for her study of the field. She also has experience judging region and state high school competitions for drama.Cierra approaches teaching with a growth mindset. Students can always get better, no matter the skill. She also focuses on student-led learning. She believes that student-led learning and discovery helps students to retain information and maintain their skillset more fully. As a result, Cierra prefers to act as a guide in learning and let the student decide which direction they would like to take to improve their skills.
