Erica

Erica has loved music her entire life, and has actively performed and composed music since 2009. She has been playing the piano since 2003, and played both Trumpet and French Horn in junior high, high school, and into college. She was also pit captain in marching band and has experience in percussion. In 2025, she composed her first concert band piece. Erica believes music can enhance your life, whether through playing or simple appreciation. Learning music shouldn’t feel like a chore, and you should pursue the music you are interested in. She believes pursuing music can teach skills and build character through learning how to work hard and appreciate the progress you make. Erica believes not just in learning how to perform music, but understanding how music works. This allows the student to thrive and follow their individual passions within music, whether that be creation or appreciation.
