Kelly is a passionate teacher of piano, voice, and guitar with a lifelong love for music. She holds an Associate of Arts in Vocal Music from Western Wyoming Community College (2006), where she earned both talent and academic scholarships. Kelly has sung in choirs throughout her life and has received "too" ratings for both choral and solo pieces at school-sponsored competitions. She has also performed in several productions at The Off Broadway Theater, showcasing her versatile musical and theatrical talents.
Kelly’s teaching philosophy is centered on student-led learning. She believes that connecting with the music we learn makes the process more engaging and rewarding. By allowing her students to choose pieces that resonate with them, Kelly fosters a love for practice and encourages perseverance even when challenges arise.
