Kimball

Guitar, Piano, Voice | Draper, Sandy

Kimball has been piano, guitar, and voice since 2018. He studied Songwriting and Music Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and has performed in over 15 bands throughout the Charlottesville, VA and Boston, MA music scenes. His performance experience spans a wide range of venues, including theaters, restaurants, breweries, festivals, and arenas.

Kimball’s teaching approach centers on meeting students where they are and building lessons around the music they genuinely love. He believes students learn best when they’re excited and curious, and he uses a contemporary approach that incorporates ear training, chord progressions, and contemporary and jazz theory to help students understand music in a practical, creative way. Kimball is passionate about giving students lessons that inspire true curiosity, confidence, and a lasting love for music.

“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
