Tricia is a dedicated piano teacher with over two decades of experience. She holds a double major in Classical Voice and Musical Theatre from Weber State University (WSU), where she studied under esteemed mentors like Marta Gutierrez, Linda Lee, and Jim Christian. Tricia's piano studies began in 1993 with Elda Jones and continued at WSU with various instructors, including Clayton Furch.
In addition to her expertise in voice and piano, Tricia expanded her musical skills by studying guitar and drums at Bravo Arts Academy. She also taught private voice and piano lessons at Bravo Arts Academy from 2010 to 2017, mentoring over 100 students and helping them prepare for competitions and auditions, with several students achieving success at the state level.
Tricia has also been involved in musical theatre, directing over 50 musicals and working extensively both onstage and backstage in numerous productions. She has experience working with students on the autism spectrum and adapts her teaching methods to suit various learning styles, ensuring that each student finds joy and success in their musical journey. Tricia's teaching philosophy is centered around making music fun and joyful, fostering a love for learning, and guiding students to become confident and accomplished musicians.
