Rehearsals are weekly at the same time each week and each session is 60 minutes long. We'd appreciate you being a few minutes early so you can get all set up before the rehearsal starts! You'll be able to select from our available times and studios in the sign up form and we'll sort students into bands that work with their availability, age, experience level, and genre preferences!

Once we received all applications, we will reach out to you to get you sorted into a band with other students who are a similar age/level/genre preference to you!

Our Rock Band Intro class gives students the exciting chance to play in a real band! Each group includes our professional teachers, who join in on instruments and vocals to support and follow the students as they learn. It’s a fun, confidence-building way to experience what it’s like to make music together as a team.
The class will be a group class. Each student will select one song they'd like to perform at the showcase. Each individual student will play in a band that is composed of our teachers on the other instruments so that they can get the feel for playing with others before jumping into playing with their peers down the road. The four sessions will be spent practicing their chosen
Must have access to your instrument at home
Must attend at least 3 of the 4 sessions
Pricing: One time payment of $99, due upon registration
This fee goes toward supplies and sheet music for your student as well as the venue and covers ticket costs, so you can invite as many friends and family as you want to the show at Pearl on Main—a well-known venue that features live band performances!
Includes Four 60-minute practices + one epic performance
Practices are Saturdays 12:00-1:00pm on 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, and 4/4
Locations: Rehearsals are held at the South Jordan studio but are open to all Piano Place Students!
